Heathrow Airport

Heathrow Airport decided to liven up the Easter getaway with the Passport to Poetry initiative. Using Audio Spotlight AS-24i speakers to control the sound, the team developed several spots across the concourse where children could stand and hear poetry recordings. The recordings featured the work of children’s authors and poets Michael Rosen, Danny Wallace, MG Leonard and Laura Dockrill. Needless to say, the use of ultrasound technology in the speakers, meant that there was no spill over to disturb other passengers just feet away.
