Southend Beecroft Gallery

When the Beecroft Gallery in Southend wanted to pep up it’s iconic Biba exhibition, the curator came up with the idea of adding audio to the exhibits. Obviously adding sound to traditionally quiet galleries is a problem, so we specified 4 x 32″ Single Domes, fitted with IR triggers to find out when there was someone listening and to shut off the sound when needed. This kept the audio manageable and coupled with the domes’ exceptional isolation, delivered a perfect solution.
