How do they work?
Overhead Array Speakers
The overhead directional array speakers work in a similar way to directional bar speakers, but use many more small speakers in the array. This means the resultant sound field can be made wider or tighter as desired. The speakers fire off at software controlled times to ensure the sound waves peak in the control area and provide a sum of the sound waves. They can also be used in a grid on the floor to provide sound from below.
